Over the years I've created multiple blogs and had written quite a few posts. This is, erm, lemme check. Right. This is my 5th blog account so far. The last four I've junked. Hell, I'll probably forget about this one in a couple of months. But anyway, the story so far.
I quit my job, changed my destiny, and in the process, bewildered my siblings. Switching from something in the medical field into something I would define as corporate has been tough these couple of months. Law school isn't exactly what I thought it would be. And my school, well, I never knew they were capable of failing students! With the first semester down, I have 3 and a half years more of studying to go. I just hope I don't get knocked out along the way.
My family has been neutral regarding this decision. My father is proud, I can tell. My mother, passive. She doesn't want to give any advise out of fear that if I fail in this new enterprise, I'll blame her. My brother's against me. I guess he wants me to move to the States or Australia with him and the rest of my siblings. Sorry bro, but I've made up my mind. Two of my sisters support me, and my other sister has been a pain every step of the way. Until now, she criticizes me for choosing to stay instead of working overseas with her in Australia. It makes me angry how one can be so close-minded and so worried about being rich. It bothers me to the bone. I've come to the realization that fulfillment is greater than any paycheck, and that possessions are fleeting. Family and friends are important. And so is health. *snicker
Law school has turned me into a zombie. With our classes being held at night, I study during the day. If I study, that is. Most of the time I waste time browsing the internet. But there's this saying that's going around, "Time you enjoy wasting, isn't a waste of time." John Lennon said that I think. I believe that, but only if the wasted time was indeed, time for wasting. If it were time for, let's say, studying, then it shouldn't be wasted. That's why I kick myself for wasting such valuable time sometimes. And that is why I feel sore right now. Haha Just kidding.
I found this great new site (and a new great time waster, as a matter of fact). It's 9gag.com. Hella lot of fun. Great for ridiculous humor. Although, I must warn you, the site contains a little bit of prejudice and is kind of sexist and racist. But I guess it's all in the spirit of fun. I guess it's comparable to Dave Chappelle's humor; racy, but funny. Ah, Dave. How I've missed your show. Anyway, 9gag.com is pretty funny. If you want to laugh, it beats Break and Youtube in quality. I must reiterate also, that most of the content is adult humor. So don't go tellin' the kids, ya hear!
Well anyway, I got to stop here for now. I'll continue probably in two hours. Gotta hit them books. Later!
